A Cultural Conversation With ...
Yvonne Boag, this is an interview with Australian artist, Yvonne Boag, by Australian art critic, Paul McGillick. They discuss what attracted Yvonne to be a visual artist and in particular influences on her work, including the Lockhart River Aboriginal Community and Yvonne's time in Paris, France, and Seoul, South Korea. (Recorded in 2003, 11 minutes, 24 MB)
Johnny P. Johson, this is a demonstration of an interview with Johnny P. Johnson, artist, teacher and humanitarian, who moved to Fredericksburg, Virginia in 1959 to teach art at the Walker-Grant High School. What began as a job evolved into a†life commitment to family, church,†community, and art. There are a few people in recent years who have had†so†profound an effect on this city. There is no one who has so deeply touched and influenced so many of us; neighbors, friends, artists, and students.
